I have not been dissapointed!! I left my home on Dor Maeglin Underdark, arguabley one of the best "other" mods out there to play ns4 and I'm totally hooked, even though this mod isnt even half there yet it would seem.
Lately there has been talk of a wipe. I know some people would like to see one but this is my little opinion about that and I'd like some feed back on weather im even in the ball park of making any sence. I'm no developer , hell, I barely know how to turn my computer on for that matter! So anyway, here goes:
I dont think a wipe at this time would happen and heres why. The high level areas of the game such as monsters and items have not been implemented into the beta yet. I would imagine that once they are, high level characters will be needed to test, find bugs, etc., etc. While we know the bugs and things are being observed in the low and midlevel difficulty areas, the same must surely be true of the higher level areas when they are introduced into the game. I have not built any characters save for one or two past lvl 20. I've been using the beta as my own form of testing on character builds to see how they will survive agains not just monsters, but also other players. The way I see it, ns4 beta is a real benefit to both dev's and players alike. So I have no complaints if beta takes another year, or another 6 months or even 6 days. I have 4 kids so trust me I have the patience (sp?) to wait!!! Anyways, this post is getting way too long because I'm starting to babble now. Suffice it to say, I think the dev's have and are doing a wonderfull job. A post for and update on the progress would be nice now and then, but I understand why this doesnt always happen. And also, I think the ns4 community is largely the best around. I really have no greif with any of the players. Keep up the good work.
