Dispels

What is the difference between lesser dispel, dispel and greater dispel? As far as I can tell there are none now. The dev changed them so they use caster level instead of character level. But all 3 are still uncapped.Which makes all 3 equally strong. Are devs gonna use 1.64 fixed dispels which work as per spell description or are they gonna have their own version again??

Greater dispell does not have any form of AOE dispell as of today...essentially making it a lesser form of Dispell.

Lesser Dispell I'm not sure.. probably maxes at 5 + D20.
Regular Dispell has a max of 10 + D20.
Greater Dispell has a max of 20 + D20.

These are vs. 11 + Caster level

Note that Arcane Defense does not work for Abjuration. I tested it today.

It looks like it is working like that in the game as well. My char with 22 spell caster levels have no problems witht the normal dispell as it should be unable to dispell my buffs. But the greater one does dispell one or two of my buffs now and then.

I will just have to increase the spell caster level to at least 24-25 to be able to ignore the greater dispells as well

It doesn't work like that. My lvl 16 casted greater dispel and I got +16 which I shouldn't. Try casting dispel or greater dispel with your caster. Watch the check.

Instead of estimating how things work from how much you get dispelled.

Dispel and lesser dispel are capped properly, but greater dispelling isn't.

Another spell change I noticed is that spell breach removed mind blank and lesser mind blank now.

Greater dispell was changed to +20 for NS4. After that, it is capped.

Does anyone know the effect of Mord's disjunction?
