Once upon a time, either on the forums or in a tequila enduced haze in my own mind, there was discussed the idea that there would not be a single uber-weapontype in NS4. I had understood this to mean that you would be able to find a LS, BS, Katana, Scythe, etc. that were all sort of close to being the same at high levels. So we wouldn't end up with every WM carrying a YDB or a Fang.
I see Tag's blade, Demonbane, Greater Northern Light, Gnoll Chief's sword, that are all LS, but I don't see katanas, rapiers, kamas, etc that are similar.
1: It was all a dream. Welcome to kansas.
2: It'll be implemented soon.
3: I'm too dumb to realize that they already exists.

There are quite a few weapons in the soon/hard-to-find-but-in category. Once Sunken and Frostdale are in you'll see a few more weapon types get their level 20+ items.
