i thought attacking in avendell was wrong and not accepted and i tried to tell these people the same thing .... i didn't even attack back i just sat here trying to tell a dm but i got nothing .... they just stood over me and laughed calling themself dm's ..... there is just something wrong with that

yeah it is BS, I see curse words in there too, but the DM's, never do anything about anything so sorry. They dont seem to ever be in or on the forums. Only ones I see are DV and TPGO.

Flouting the authority of the DMs by calling themselves DMs?

Well, I guess "beta" is the best time to see if the DMs will do anything to stop you from breaking rules like no fighting in Avendell. The rules seem to be more like guidelines apparently for some. :roll:

i wouldn't say the DM's do nothing . i have had them help me a few times before with bugs . i don't blame them for anything either. the only reason i posted in the first place is cause behavour like that shouldn't be allowed. i'm not about crying when i get pk'ed ... it is a pvp module ... and the best i have ever played in my 2 years playing NWN. i don't think posting there names would do any good and i don't wan't other people fighting my fights but what they did was wrong. to stand there after and name call and call themself a dm was wrong. sorry about the poor quality screenshots but i don't know how to post them anyother way

. i did however send them in a zip file to TGPO. at the least i hope they get a talking too

How's this for a law?
If the you are caught in anyway breaking the rules of non-aggression in Avendell, you are banned from the city.
This could possibly be done by adding a script that checks for a flag on a users ACCOUNT (not just whatever character they used to break the law) and if this flag is up, that character is denied entrance to avendell.

Hit a few dumbasses with this punishment and see how quickly everyone will fall into line.

(Make the ban apply to people that help circumvent this alw also)

It's hard for the DMs to be in all places at once, on all servers, especially since we all have jobs and families. But we're around more than you think! Rather than posting in the forum, send the screenies to me, TGPO, or DV. (Other DMs are on vacation at the moment, or inactive).

If possible, get player login names as well as character names. Action HAS been taken on this matter.

If you need DM help you should try the mIRC channel. DV helped me immediately when I went in there and explained my problem (corrupted character was unable to level at all) and he even went through the trouble of re-leveling me and transfering all my gear over. Don't expect them to find you, you have to make an effort. Thanks again DV!
