Teifling must be evil?

Teifling must be evil?

I don't understand why teiflings must be evil, I mean in the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting it says that "not all teiflings are evil or untrustworhty". I could somewhat understand if you said "any non-good alignment" which would include neutral too. I think it takes away from the roleplay factor, and it's very restricting to the people that want to play this race. Well that's my opinion on it.

I can't help but agree with Murkill, though. The first tiefling I ever met in a computer RPG was Annah, from Planescape: Torment. fiery-tempered lass, but not evil. Then you have the weapon-master dude from Chapter 3 of HotU... also not evil.

Mind you, I understand why the ruling was made, i just don't agree with it.
