Ranger question
Since rangers do not get an animal companion at level 6 (from what I've been told), do they get a bonus feat in its place, or are they just out of luck?

They get a few custom NS4 bonuses... Improved Evasion (level 9), 20% speed boost in natural areas, and auto-explored maps in natural areas. Also HiPS in outdoor natural areas if you go 21+ ranger levels.

I was actually just looking for ways to nab an extra feat, as opposed to looking for a ranger build, but thanks.

You get ImpEva for free at 9, 20% outdoors speed at 7, HiPS at 21 outdoors and reveal maps at 6. They get some pretty good extra feats to make up for animal companion scalingDobian wrote:I was actually just looking for ways to nab an extra feat, as opposed to looking for a ranger build, but thanks.

Outdoor hips at 21 is amazing. That's a huge, and generally under-used, boost.

They do recieve an extra boost to thier Summon I-IV spells aswell
