I just want to take a moment and thank the dev team for this new area. It's a really great area, with unique properties and gear, and is overall fun as hell. Excellent job on this one guys.

Now that all the planar areas are linked together we should do an event where you have to run from Abyss to Celestia without leaving the planar areas and their nexuses.

Looks like HoK isn't very popular either
I spent more time on that area than anywhere else except maybe DWP (I was just learning NWN development at that time).

I personally skip HoK because when I first joined the server I got to be in a couple party wipes there, so now I have bad memories and I've never gone back. One day I will return and "face my demons", but until then I'll just have nightmares of Codexes spamming timestop and killing everyone.

HoK is fun, unless you got some hyper impaitient youngster in the party (and when dont ya), the area requires vast paitence an uncommon commidty in the aforementioned players heh.

I made other puzzle rooms for HoK but haven't really integrated and finished them.

I really like the puzzle idea, and HOK is very nice as far as being interesting and a good challenge. I have had more than one party refuse HoK because of the maze. It's one of those things that's neat the 1st time, but can also really eat up a great deal of time on an XP run. Outside of that, the only negative I can think of for HoK is that off the top of my head it's got the largest difficulty gap between the mobs and the bosses. The HoK bosses are far tougher than the general HoK mobs. Between that and the fact that no faction has an insta-portal to the NS nexus, you're traveling a long way out for no boss xp included in your run.

The Maze is kinda annoying when soloing it as it takes 30 minutes or more sometimes.

HoK is my favorite plane. I've spent houers just dying when I was trying to figure out the orbs.... Wehn I finaly did, I got my arse kicked badly by the boss :p
