Cleric Builds In NS4...

So recently I've come back to NS. I played 3 East for years. Graduated to 4. And then had a very long hiatus from gaming. I have been back to 4 and and working on some new character creations. I really enjoy trying to build the Ultimate cleric template. Clerics have always been a favorite class of mine. So for the more experienced and familiar NS4 builders, What are your favorite Cleric templates? Most effective, Most complete packages.

Your imput is greatly appreciated. If you can include class level/Mixture details. Fav weapon. Domains. Race etc.

Also Summons. Is epic dragon knight worth the feat? The focuses? or obsolete at higher levels?

So far as I can see there's tons of different things to do with clerics, played in many different ways. And not one that's better in all aspects (at least I hope not).

With 2 plus 4s you can get 60 AB, DC 46 level 9 spells. Juicy.

The best question is, what do you want to do best?

Well. Usually my play style consists of Solo play. I dont know too many people anymore and it can be hard to find groups at the times I get to play. So mostly what I'm looking for is a build that can not only solo well but be a fortified, reliable character in group combat. After all if your Healer is dead it doesnt do anyone much good right?

And on a side note..
Do epic resistance feats and epic damage reduction feats carry over when a Shifter changes form? Just curious.

yup.

Make a NC Torm imploder. Not exactly original, but it solos alot and if you can recognize what is implodable and what isn't, you can even out the odds in a group combat.

clerics are essential in epic parties and incredibly handy to have below that... maybe include your calls in your party shouts.. ie "Cleric of 26 seasons looking for flock" or for the bland palatte "lvl 26 cleric lfp"


on a wis based cleric it can be good to include in 6 monk.

add zen archery and your in the perfict postion for party cleric

travel domain if you wont have 25 dex for blinding speed.. healing domain if you want the best possible healer..

Research all the basic cleric spells on the wiki.. many are changed from what your used to and it will drasticly affect your choices, spell load and buffing order.

I made a cleric summoner with all the Conj focuses, GithZ Race (helps planar summon), and Evil Domain (helps planar summon). The epic dragon knight (Balor) was awesome for Leveling up to about lvl 36, but is almost completely worthless in PVP. The only thing it can do well in pvp is spot. It always uses some burst spell that gets the guards pissed at him when defending, so I do not use it very often. It could use a little love (since it IS an epic spell).

That flameburst thingie he does is a pain. Otherwise, Balor's are brutal in pvp. As long as they cast the right spells at the right time. Those harms or inflict crits can decided engagements by themselves.

and NC gets 2 Unique prestige classes... everyone should get to make COTs !!!!
