Over the years, I have formed an opinion that not all factions are given the same amount of time between server shouting a cradle was defeated and when a relic is actually stolen out of it. Noticed differences when defenders logging off, back on, buff and arrive in cradle area. Some factions appeared to be able to log of/on, buff and get into before a relic was stolen, while factions appeared to be unable to do so.
To put the matter to rest, I have been using a stop watch to see if my perception was either fantasy or reality. I have found that SL's cradle will release a relic after about 1 minute and 30 seconds. Today while watching the shouts, I timed the RK cradle to release in about 1 minute and 45 seconds. Are the timers on the factions supposed to be different?
Duration to defeat a relic cradle?

Re: Duration to defeat a relic cradle?
It might have something to do with the number of raiders, or the time it takes to run from nearest 'safe' log in spot to cradle.Eldaquen wrote:Over the years, I have formed an opinion that not all factions are given the same amount of time between server shouting a cradle was defeated and when a relic is actually stolen out of it. EDIT: I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the amount of raiders you have.

Just verified by looking at the code.... constant amount no matter what faction.
