The Abyss and Celestia defeated (56k warning)

No DM intervention. We defeated both bosses in back to back nights. Here are screenies of the final moments of each boss.

Demogorgon - Prince of Demons defeated. BTW I loved this map, how this guy entered and everything.



Zaphkier - Lord of Celestia defeated. This guy was one tough cookie especially with all his help around.

This boss room was probably one of the hardest as well. Pup I'm sure you can tell where this is.

That's cool... I'm sure we can always make Demogorgon tougher I'll have some DMs hand out some rewards to you folks. Good loot if I recall... especially Zaphkiel's sword... I hope that dropped for you guys!

I wasn't able to go on the abyss trip. It would have been great. But this was my fourth trip to the Celestia Boss. We spent the week recruiting guys to go. Days getting permission from the wife. Settling out the kids and so on. The three other times i went to meet Zaphkiel were absolute anhilliation. We didn't even actually get one of his minnions down. Most times we were slaughtered in less than a minute.

One time we actually all got in the room and in just moments we were all killed except the dwarven defender who then (with his last action) raised the paladin. Brilliant! Who then used his martyrdom and raised the whole party!!! And then we were all dead again in like 15 -20 seconds. lol.

So. It was a pretty cool moment to actually get to sit in Zaphkiel's throne. We probably spent 15 minutes there after we killed him. "Drinking champagne and carrying on." Then we moved to DWP and got our party wipe accomplished there. lol.

Good stuff. Thanks for the challenge. It was really awesome.

now that is a battle...reminds me of the old days on ns3.when it took a large party and a long time to defeat G1. the long battles and large party are what makes the game fun and the equipment worth it..
