NS4 1.69 Performance and You

There was a configuration error that was causing massive lag... we think we've fixed it (*fingers crossed*). I'm now getting 45-65 ping times... not too shabby.

That said, I've heard many folks getting bad video performance in the Rural Castle tileset areas (for example, Daeron). One thing I too found the tileset to perform better, but after I updated my NVidia drivers to the latest version I noticed significant performance improvement.... Anyway, if you're using NVidia and you're not sure you have the latest drivers (June 2008 for my card drivers), I recommend updating.
