wooohooo way to go devs why not nerf drow and tieflings all together a little bit of umd and bam everyone has uv......?please explain the use behind makeing this scribable????

Yeah you've always been able to buy helmets in Avendell with UV...

Gee, I didn't think one would be controversial. The scroll you scribe is significantly less powerful than the helm that anyone can buy. The intention was just to make wizards' lives slightly easier.

well, one poorly thought out post does not make a controversy

yep... a lot of new folks dont realize how necessary uv is and dont think to pick it up on the wiz level up screen. a low level scroll should have no effect on the game given all the uv sources mentioned above.

I didn't rebuild the module for such a minor change. It'll happen when it's rebuilt for something else.

There are Recharged on Rest Helms of Legend Lore in play, plus spiked helms that increase Lore. Pots of increased Int are already in play.

Heh, never knew that uv wasn't scribable since I usually used a helm anyway. Should have never ben that much stock in a lvl 3 spell anyway, you'd die quickly relyin on it in PnP.
