Why would I want to count 12 hours twice? I’m perfectly capable of counting to 24, and while we’re at it, can someone go shoot named time zones. GMT+x is all we need!

If that's possible that would be great.Korr wrote:Perhaps we can get a dairy function to list the levels of the players on the server, but not their classes. So we can figure out whos playing what level but dont know anything else about them?

Re: No player list...
Or you could just shout for party level like everyone else. Talk about beating a dead horse.

For one you have to learn the weeknesses of a build if you whant to beat it. In the past, when someone raided, Id logout, look at playerlist to see what build was raiding, and quickly log the toon most apropriate for dealing sviftly with the atacking toon. In adition, you can make bilds now that would if char sheet where visible have some wery aparent weeknesses, but that can be hidde in evry day play so players dont know about it...

Re: No player list...
A function for everyone in party would be keen eh? Maybe the "level list" can change colors for hosties (red), neutrals (blue), and parties (green) on the text.

Had to remove a quote to get rid of this error :"You may embed only 3 quotes within each other."

An idea to have faction listed instead of class? This would help with non guild players.Korr wrote:Perhaps we can get a dairy function to list the levels of the players on the server, but not their classes. So we can figure out whos playing what level but dont know anything else about them?
Re: No player list...
I think people should play their alignment. That wont ever happen. So this is a way to force a little role play on people and i love it. Its the players choice to lie or not when asked what level they are for a party. Of course some of us know the difference in xp depending on level.

Re: No player list...
there's no way to properly roleplay level discussions. level and xp are meta game information. some people cheese it by talking about "seasons" and other crap, but substituting "7th level" for "7th season" is an insult to the entire concept of real role play. likewise trying to divine or divulge that information via contorted "in character" speech.mgrjebbo wrote:I think people should play their alignment. so i say if its meta, make a clean break admit it and put it in a /command. or dont mention it at all. lying about "level" so as to roleplay your alignment is just self defeating.
Re: No player list...
I realize this thread is 6 pages long, but has anyone thought about perhaps showing a players log in name? That way you could at least see if your friend(s) is logged in.
