Oops, thanks }: P
Some bioware pale master and red dragon disciple builds:
http://nwn.bioware.com/underdark/charac ... dlord.html
http://nwn.bioware.com/underdark/charac ... death.html
http://nwn.bioware.com/underdark/charac ... rnaut.html
Still kind of neutral to that argument, but something to consider for whatever it's worth or not worth }: )
I did just realize something from this, epic palemasters have access too all the best fighter feats, including dev crit, they're clearly meant to be combined with fighters.
I think it's interesting to have characters like this around (i still think there should be a different dragon disciple for each dragon color with different breath weapons and maybe set up for different classes, but that would be hard on bioware lol), but maybe aren't a good idea to allow things like this in PvP worlds, don't know...[/spam]

Actually, it's one bonus feat every five levels, not two. That would *really* make wizards unstoppable.Æ wrote:Yeah I've never made a sorc in any D&D game, my mages have always been wizards, they're so much better. They get all that stuff you guys mentioned (yeah 1 bonus feat every two levels like a fighter) AND they can learn any spell they can get their hands on a scroll for }: )

Hmm, I have a pure wizard now with lots of saved up skill points for when I multi-class (not sure what to yet). The number of spells you can cast seem limited, and it does take more planning than a sorc in terms of setting your spell book, but you get access to a whole lot more. I had only really played sorcs before so its fun to learn about a new class during the beta.
yes the total is probably the same, but you don't have the same flexiblity as the situation changes as you need to stop and re-do your spell book and then rest. Not too much of a pain, except when you are stuck in an area where you cannot rest and have to fight your way out when the giants kill the rest of your party!Gil-Este wrote:u get about the same number of spells per day as a sorc i think
On the epic builds on the Bio page...many have significant problems playing (one trick ponies), and I'd say all but 2 would be severly problematical to play for a number of reason until they get that super feat that makes them unstoppable.
While we can't add prestige classes from server side only, we are able to make some significant changes and tie them into the game as well. Um one of the many things on the list.

If bioware was making builds for a PvP group oriented world. Most of those builds would be removed. Those build are fine for single player games which the vast majority of the customer base plays. When it comes to PW they leave it up to the world builders to make the rules.Lokey wrote:On the epic builds on the Bio page...many have significant problems playing (one trick ponies), and I'd say all but 2 would be severly problematical to play for a number of reason until they get that super feat that makes them unstoppable.

What are you on if I may ask?Alexiagold wrote:Vorpal Scythe? Please oh please tell me where you found/heard of this. I've never seen a scythe with anything cool, the best I've gotten is an imbuned Mithril Scythe, which I can't use till 16. Yes I know about the equip bug, but I don't use it, because I don't need it and its a bug/exploit. (same reason I almost never use darkness). With the one vorpal weapon I have found, trust me, almost no one is going to be using it, since its the oddest of all weaponsSo is that with or without the vorpal scythe you found while playing with your high level mage char?.
I'm using all avendall store bought stuff, or stuff my fighter found herself from Yuanti. I'm pretty sure I didn't even mule money to my fighter. So yea, my fighter is a crappy build to, I'm already replacing her with a newer better build, of course I'm keeping the Scyther because I'm already a master craftsman in exotic, and will be the next level soon I believe (might need to level a tad first). If you can't handle the giants, work on your build, a good build should have enough ac easy to totally tank them, and they have crappy AC so you'll still hit more than not. That's really all a fighter needs, high AC, <B>which is easy to get with all the AC gear in this mod.</B>
On De-X I can use +5 AC gear at lvl 10.
So far at lvl 16, the imbued mithril plates got +3 AC and 25% immunity and 10/- resist.
Saying NS4 has "All the AC gear" is like saying "I can solo 6 giants and kill them faster at lvl 12 with my fighter then your lvl 8 sorc can". This is what most people call lying.
These characters are clearly a joke. Bioware has taken the initiative to confuse any wannabee-PGers, and the best way to start was on their website. Everything has been optimized to be as worse as someone can possibly make it, yet put it on a golden platter so there are some people that actually believe it. Bioware isnt THAT good at it tho, they could learn alot. If someone is as brave as to post a link to the NS4 forums on the bioware forums then the education can begin.Æ wrote:Oops, thanks }: P
