I haven't looked into PvP builds as much, but we have been building DwD's and soloing the Radiant Dragon, White Lord, Kultach, and the Dracolich with them, single logged, among other bosses. From a PvM standpoint they are one of the best classes.

Well, everyones gotta dream right?
It was better off with the AB check.

I haven't had a chance to play at all, cuz I'm stuck off in points unknown, but just looking at it. i have to agree with Mamba that pulling someone towards a caster, especially a discipline-less pure caster is absolutely assinine. Spacing is life for a mage. If lvl 7 pushed them away or simply slowed the target, it would be a lot nice. Pulling them toward you? Cool effect but tactically unsound.

i know I'll miss my level 9 bigsby. It was capable of hitting dexxers as well as str based. Every Drow CoT was vulnerable to it, and most Gith COT's were as well, :P especially when they didn't have a bard and their divine shield dropped, but w/e nobody ever really tried to hit us with em, except when we fought each other. SUCKERS! :P Back on topic, Level 9 has been reduced to only being effective against other casters. Not really that cool especially considering it's supposed to be the most powerful of the bigby spells. Maybe switch the coding around with level 6 :P and then increase the KD to a full round. As it stands, level 6 seems like its the most powerful of the Bigbies.

Other than the fact that level 7 seems a bit counterintuitive, and level 9 is very limited in what it can affect, I like that your trying to make the other bigsbies more effective even at level 40 combat.

Change sucks, and it really sucks that I have 2 casters with both esf conj and evo but that's the nature of the beast and you hope that people could take it as a chance to explore the game in a new way and develop new strategies based on the changes. when I get back from the war, I'll be hoping NS is still around and that there aer plenty around willing to let me try and pk them.

Tru3Fals3 wrote:the more i think about the more i think that the 6 and 9 should be switched, the 6 is way more powerfull now and the nine is a waste of a spell slot at lvl 9 but not at only lvl 6, id also suggest increasing the kd time to one full round though and changing it to make some kind of check for kd instead of just auto if attack roll over 10.

and neither of you two above can actually read (you just pick out different parts and apply them to suit yourselves )..... i was referring to dwds and minings ridiculous threads/irc rants trying to have them nerfed.
I wish I would have read this post before I made mine, as I said almost the exact same thing that TrueFalse did .

DwD's are extremely powerful. We can't help it all you dwarf players have inferiority complexes, and are incapable of realizing how powerful they are. I guess that comes from bein' vertically challenged

pull towards doesn't always drop on top of caster...looks to be about a 10 meter pull or so..its more useful/fun than it sounds

I have played and I can say pulling someone towards a caster or back were they came from when here trying to run away is useful.

this is supposed to impress me? really?? i can do that and WAY WAY more with my shifter or my pm and i certainly dont think either of those need to be nerfed, not only that but they are actually usefull in pvp too
The truth is just an excuse for those with a lack of imagination.

Assassins need to be able to solo these bosses as well. Please fix or I will quit.

I'd be very impressed if you could solo, say, Dracolich without UEF or a way of removing level drain.
