Could a script be added so if you use a heal pot when you have a relic on your back it dose not work?

Small change for the rest of the heats. When the relic reset happens at the 2 hours mark we will be adding a quick server reset rather than just reseting the relics. Hope this will help with some of the lag we saw last night.

While both toons were Shorties from downunder (rk), there were many player/toons from RK who did not partake in the chugfest. The majority of the players fought honerably.

Let not, the one bad apple, spoil the truck load.

To be honest, I saw lots of them chugging, not just that one. Thing is he really did it to extreme. Others just used one or two of them before they died. Of course, at least half of RK/AO toons didn't chug, and those that did were mostly untagged toons that are new to the game. While I can understand some desperate chugging against TCNC where they were beating the ods, it was kind of sad to see so much chugging against MA/SL that was in fewer numbers then they were.

Talking about that, I really think MA/Sl needs to be praised for their effort. Even though in much lower numbers then us, they sure did mount few valiant attempts on Melencia. And fought with real honour and sportmanship.

Lets hope for more fun and less drama in next 3 rounds. Its been fun so far, lets make it even better.

why is drinking a healing potion to stay alive during a pvp considered so un-honorable?

besides that... those thievin' skunks that stole Martina's shortsword care nothing about honor, so why would they not chug-a-lug.

Full heal potions heal 300 a pop, and you can drink 2 per round while running around. If you aren't disabled you can make yourself literally unkillable by chugging potions, which of course is no fun for whoever is fighting you.

As for disarming, it is part of the game. I have a disarmer myself and always give back weapons if asked, but anyone can keep a disarmed weapon if they manage to grab it. If you don't want to be disarmed, make sure you have plenty of discipline.

How can we legitimately call potions an acceptable strategy if someone can chug for that long, against a couple of toons.

As it is, potion chugging simply makes it so that one toon can survive nearly anything.

Not chuging also allows clerics and bards to provide the support they are intened for.

But the first two answers are correct.

My numbers are probably off.. spliting each half into two seperate scoring kinda made it hard to keep it strait while in battle.

Chugging is particularly demoralizing against a mage as they only have a set number offensive spells. Once spent, the toon is useless until a rest - which may not always be possible and is often too late.

Imagine telling a mele toon they can only swing a certain number of times before they must rest. Not nice eh?

Well, yeah.
But mages have a fairly effective disabler against the high HP, high DR classes, i.e. DWDs, whereas TCNC rely on sheer hitting power. 600 health a round is 4 clerics spamming harms. Thats pretty freaking high damage output, folks.
