There are few concerns about this matter I would like to address. First of all I need to say that I don't like Korr at all, even. despize him for his behavior but in this case I see few things that didn't happen as they should.

First of all, whenever bounties were given on this server, it was always by player and in no way DM enforced. It was up to players to trust issuer of bounty or not. Also it was always set up in a way that one that issuess bounty wanted to hurt the one he put up bounty for and not give his friends a bounty.

And it was up to one issuing the bounty to decide if it was deserving to pay up. There was no way to enforce someone because of technicality, or we would need to employ a lawyer when issuing a bounty.

Talking about technicality. Were all those people that killed Anaheim unique players or they logged their other toons to get original kills? If not does venge loging rule or rezing and killing again rule apply here?

DM's enforce things how they see fit. They've always done that. IF DM kim had decided to not get involved with the bounty, she wouldn't have said anything. HOWEVER, she felt like getting involved and that's her prerogative as a God/staff member of this server. When staff members decide to make a judgement call, ie there are no specific rules governing a situation, we as players can squirm, scream, kick, cry all we want, but that's extent of our rights in those situations. There is one "supreme judge," if you will, deputy dog, and that's your last resort on said issues, IF you have a problem with a DM's call. Otherwise you live with their judgement or you move on.

I think everyone here has made some remarkable arguments for and against Korr, and even Korr did much to clarify what his intention was for the bounty.

HOWEVER, DM Kim already made a judgement based off his vague shout, and has already made a ruling that the bounty was fulfilled. He CAN try and argue that the bounty was not fulfilled based on it not fulfilling his intent. HOWEVER, oher staff members have backed her original judgement, so the only person who can rescind said judgement is Deputy Dog, or DM Kim herself. He's basically at the mercy of the court here.

We can all try to lawyer it, but it makes no difference.

Ive always pushed the limits. . . this is nothing new. Thats in large part how you build good toon.

And now you know why he gets the treatment he does .

It's a simple lesson. No rule was enforced. No ruling is enforced. All I did was bear witness on behalf of Korr and those who took up the challenge.

Without that witnessing and intervention, there would have been a disdained Shouting match, pvp hunt killing etc.. with probably whines of PC harassment through PK's an ongoing list.

Here's the lesson:
If you make an idiotic non RP, personal Smack Talk Attack Challenge over Shout, that is designed to cause me and the rest of the staff problems down the road, I'll call you out on it and stop future problems.

Korr issued a challenge. I gave warning in a manor that asked if Korr was good to his word. His reply stated that he was. (SS Posted)
PWnD took up that challenge as per the directives within that Shout that Korr issued (SS Posted) and I bore witness to it. (To keep server peace)
Korr demanded proof (SS Posted)
Proof was dismissed.
Korr's, so called, word is now proven to be bogus. (As demonstrated by his posts)
If he should issue other Challenges other than meeting someone in Thunder Dome, I suggest that you chose not to accept or believe that challenge. Korr's intent is not in reward but causing problems.

Korr in a further post stated that his intent, his goal was to "Push the Rules" which in an incitement to the server to do wrong. THAT MAKES MINE AND THE STAFF'S JOB HARDER AND LESS ENJOYABLE. We would now have been dealing with rules lawyering and newish players who may have fallen into Korr's trap.

TO ALL: If you want to know the results of "Pushing the Rules" don't take my word, ask any member of PWnD as to what can happen. I can guarantee that if we Push Back you will not like the results.
