It's a fun little addition, and inventively executed, the real problem is that it's kinda like hearing the same joke over and over and over, and it's a fairly long joke when you work in walking times.

I'm not sure what the percentage is supposed to be, but I've been tracking and I've fallen 5 times in 11 flights.

since the change, i've not had a successful dragon ride. getting dumped in an area that is far from the original destination takes away from the fun of the game. you log into the server, shout for a party, get accepted, try to get there as quickly as possible and then have to lose gold and sometimes xp to get there because of a luck percentage? not fun in my book. very frustrating and inconvenient.

Here's a good screenie :)

Of three 40's carrying relics on Beryn to Angmar Wastes, two of us fell off the dragon hehehe. I fell in Sunken, Sam fell in Ash mountains. In Sunken I was unable to take the ferry lol. I could buy a ticket, but he ferry wouldn't let me on.

Lol, guess not. Someone probably should have checked that after it was brought up.

Out of curiosity Crazy, where were you trying to go? Did you try buying all 3 tickets (everything but FD)?

Not to put a wet blanket on the dragon fall off fun you guys are having but i'm totally tired of always falling off the dang dragons. It's a pain in the rear. And don't tell me to find a different way to get somewhere.. if i had all day and no one waiting for me to join em in a party (god forbid on a rescue mission) then i wouldn't mind it. But to spend almost 30k just to get to ave because the dragon gets an itch and dumps me off to scratch it, makes me a bit angry. I did make noise on shout and got popped for it.. that's cool, i was wrong to vent on shout. But doggone it, i've had enough!

I'm with Dragongrams. This change bothers me more every day.

I think the fact that the staff generally shrug off ungracious comments like this one, despite everything they do FOR FREE, shows that they don't have fragile egos. What have YOU done, besides play on their server FOR FREE? I'm sure WoW and Everquest are bug-free - you can always go there.

D2 runs fairly bug free, and its for free too. But then again there arent ever any changes to make you rethink builds and keep things interesting. Its all set options everytime you wanna make a new toon. Keep the nerfs coming!!!

Yesterday I was talking to a player, and they said to me "I'm a parent, I only get to play an hour or 2 at a time" and he was telling me how much of his playtime gets eaten up by the dragon-drop thing.

Our Devs are generally awesome, and I appreciate very much the work that's put in to NS4, but I really have to say this one is a real miss. It has a clearly negative effect on the playing experience.
