All you have to do is figure out when to stop. When you do, you round up since all the numbers are six for the last number which becomes a 7.
So you could just round up from 66.66% to 67% to get rid of decimals or round up at 66.67% because its only necessary to go to the hundreth decimal place.
I dont see the Thunderdome as being about bragging rights I see is as a way to lose a character. If I care that little about my character I can find the death angel or just stop playing it.
A penalty other than deletion might make it interesting, like a big xp hit like a 3k /level or something, or the winner gets to take the losers items. Or a public scoreboard with wins and losses! What's the point of bragging that your better than a character that doesn't exist?

Yeah right because you're really going to win if you didn't bring any gear with you.
Whole point of the Thunderdome was to provide a way to ultimately resolve your differences with coming whinging to us.
Therefore used often or not the TD is a 100% successful addition to the server.
I don't see much lose talk around here these days.

I think it's a spiffy idea anyhow, and plan to use it one day...
the only thing I'm worried about is -- is the delete character routine 100% working now (except of course for using quote symbols in the toon name)? I'd just be afraid of losing the wrong toon from my vault if I were to fall...
Also, is there a policy on crashing? ie: if you happen to log out while inside the dome, you are disqualified and lose... what if you time out or crash legit?
I suppose both of these could be resolved with a PM to the right dev/dm...
TD is designed so you can't cop out of a fight, if you log/crash/lose your deleted. its the only sure fire way to make sure ppl don't log and claim they crashed.

I suppose when my new character "SELECT * FROM tblNS4" gets to lvl 21, we'll soon find out.

spot on. for me, I'll never risk a high level toon to a "hellball crash." maybe a "thunderdome-lite" where the loser cant log any toons for 2 days rl would be more interesting.
though a public scoreboard would be the best bragging rights, AND would give bored 40s something else to do.

I recently had a 32 deleted in the thunderdome. Was fun. Went in with little hope of winning being outmatch by some 4 levels and knowing what i was up against.
Still knowing i was to loose, it was a fun experince and thank you zing and all for such a destructive idea.
Bored, well go get deleted i say. leave the people leveling on the mountain alone hehe.
