the graphics coding appears to be very very clunky for it's quality, considering that my main box can and does run a much higher quality graphics seamlessly (EQ2) than what NWN2 if offering out of the box.

Just hoping for so serious engine patches...
I have both EQ2 and NwN2. The graphics look darn near the same to me.

Having said that though, I will concur that I can run EQ2 on my 4 year old Athlon XP 2100, but I can't run NwN2 on my duo Core E6300, which is two 1.86 gig Intel processors. NwN2 doesn't recognize both processors therefore it only runs off of one 1.86 processor, and it's choppy enough in busy/active areas for me not to be able to play it.

NwN2 running smoothly

New box, new results! NwN2 is great thus far.

I don't know if Obsidian would admit it or not, but a lot of graphics look to be 'borrowed' from DDO.

There is an issue with nwn2 and dual core AMD or Intel processors. Its in the readme.txt file and its fixable. I had serious issues on my

AMD 3.8X2, nvidia 7900gs comp, but after i fixed it as read me said, it runs smooth on medium-high settings.

Also don't forget that there is separate exe file for AMD, it runs much better if you have AMD and use that exe.
