Woot!!! for the new areas and gear!

A single haste potion seems to be a common drop latly in Dwarf home. Wondering if thats a bug. Otherwise... I LOVE the new stuff! Great work on all the new creatures, I've spent like every waking moment exploring and loving it. Cheers!

On a side note, Fire Guardians are a bit too tough for their CR. Its their damage reduction plus hp thats the problem. With 3 fightin' builds, me and two others had to spend 15 minutes to kill one (by himself too). Or are these guys one of the few ones easy for mages?

GUardians all seem really tough, I guess that's why they attained the title guardian. Air guardians seem the most difficult to me. I kind of like it though, it presents a challenge. I'm glad they've done something to make cretures difficult in that way. I think i spent about 30-40 minute on an air guardian one time. Those guys are tough cookies.

haven't had any problem with those but, the incinerated do near 300 pt crits.

Yes, I learned from experience (265 damage). But I can handle dying. Its a lot less annoying than having to hack and hack away at a guardian for 30 minutes, wasting half an hour of your life.

less anoying that loosing lvl*50 worth of xp and 10%gold and having to spend time running back from the respawn... vs 500ish xp + chance of loot....

Defeated the Earth Boss which is CR 42. He was a truly tough fight hitting for around 60+ with his flail and critting in the 150 range. We are not sure what items he drops as all we got was an emerald and about 1k gold. The xp was good and so far all the rest of the drops have been excellent just hoping to see what the uber bosses drop someday. Great work on all of the areas but the Air Guardians do seem a bit over powered compared to Earth at least. I haven't spent much time in Fire to know for sure but the Earth Guardian have tons of hit points with immunities where the Air Guardians have tons of Evasion with Epic Dodge and Epic Warding as well as the immunities and 2 heals. It truly does take a good 15-20 minutes plus with even a couple melee builds going after her. Perhaps dropping the Immunities to crits and sneaks but keeping the rest might balance it out more? She would still be hard to hit but wouldn't take the pounding for as long. Just some thoughts.. keep up the good work.

Fire guardians have at least Premonition up as a defense, and they have a bunch of very powerful Heals IIRC. Still, with the +5 weapons dropping in these areas, it should only be a problem for people who haven't menaged to collects lots and lots of loot from the planes.

I never said that the problem was hitting them, the problem was doing enough damage to kill them with their massive DR and HP.

However, with the new update just today I'm sure this is no longer too much of a problem.

Another note: faction gear is dropping off the unbound/trapped/whatever guards in the Nexus. I found faction based items in all three open nexi yesterday. So if you guys from LA, AO, or RK are looking for gear that drops off your city guards, you can just go up to your nexus to look for it.

Last night fire guaurdians were CR 25, i thought they used to be cr 33?
