Triple logging FTW?! I did triple-log for a short time, but believe me it was bloody hard to do! Dual-log is more managable.

The main reason I ever muti-boxed was for PvE .. I can log on anytime and have an instant party right in the middle of a place I could level in - waste no time travelling or waiting to form a group, spend 10 minutes or 5 hours (usually long runs others would join me). NS4 is tough -- many areas are designed to destroy you if you're solo, multiboxing gives the solo player a chance at tougher areas. Also it is very nice to ding 40 on 2 or 3 toons at the same time - I think this may be part of the bitterness against multiboxing, it seems unfair that I get 2 lvl40s in the same playtime as they get 1.

Also, the lack of HASTE on certain toons of mine in the past is/was a great motivator for dual-boxing, one toon cranks out haste to keep the travel time minimized.

PvP was a disaster with 3 boxes, just can't keep up with the pace... even dual-logged I never performed better than with a single toon.

Who was the dumb person who wanted to make blindness actually just 'night-time?' Did you not realize that was one of the best counter's to dual logging ____'s who click a cracked-up toon (that we can't dispell) on chase and forget mode? Are we trying to make dual logging that much easier?

I think the dev's need to take a look at what they want to promote on this server before they make changes. dual logging ruins quality pvp on this server. period.

There are plenty of free proxies out there... 1 ip 1 toon would only help till people grab a proxy sorry to say.

I tend toward the camp that multilogging for PvP is lame, but whatever, it's a game, nothing's real, and the excellent staff have spoken. Plenty of other inadminastratable ways to gain an advantage, I guess, and plenty of other lame things people do (not evil or badass, those of you that have an persecution complex, just lame.)

I'm with crazy, though, it is fun to pound on inactive toons while the owner's attention is elsewhere - I find myself looking for the one that's not moving now. It's even more fun to chase them down when they try to zone to get away. Not that I don't zone upon occasion, but it's pretty obvious when someone's distracted and they just run in a straight line and stop when you're out of sight, then don't move when you catch up with them. Split the logger over 2 or 3 maps and see how he does. Hahaha what was that? Take yer lumps!

Actually, I know of 2 husband-wife combos that play.

Sometimes my kids play (they are 14 and 19).

My friend's wife gives him too much crap if he plays at home, and he has little ones, so sometimes he comes over and plays on my laptop.

They shouldn't outright ban multiple connections from the same IP.

I can think of a few as well... my husband and I being one. And when we're on together, it's totally obvious we aren't one person pretending to have a roommate.

And when its neil and his roommate its obvious its not neil alone... AFAIK neil has never pretended to not be solo behind those screens.
