That was an awesome quest

Thanks to all - there were some really tough builds on this quest.

It was only fitting that a quest by Lolth was won by a SL.

oh...its a planar dragon. i don't go to the planes very much.

That dragon is found on water map between planar dwarf area outside and water area, it is underwater.

Nemesis was the 3rd winner of that phase of the quest/event. Steel and Tribly both won in that order the 3rd phase, but they had already won two of the previous events so the event was continued and on the 3rd try, we both moved away from the final kill at half health.
Steel - me - won beholder belt, dire gloves, adamantite boots. - Leveled to 40 off all the dragons and snake guys.
Trilby - not sure I crashed >

Nemesis won the 4 +4 books.

There was some wierdness with the water plane snake guys, thier models it appears are allowed to stack all on one spot. So thier collition model appears very small, which killed a lot of people thinking they had one or 2 on them, but really had 20.

But we were back up and running pretty fast.

It was great fun, I did crash 9 times, but that always happens with my Linux client when heavy spells are going of and I'm rotating the screen to pick the target, with 8 dragons moving around its hard to target one in the back. Happens on windows also to other folks as well.

yeah.. i crashed only 2 times (total exit of nwn client with no error or pause before hand) and died once (to the mass trident mob).

and i wish i hadn't won earlier, since I actually got the last hit 2 times in the last round, so suddenly more spawns came even tho they were all gone a moment before.

I won the full compliment of +6 heavy armors, good thing i wasn't using a dex-build

I'm curious as to what those RINGs were that Tekka? won, I still haven't seen an epic ring drop, and I've killed a lot of bosses since the epic generic gear has been added... lots of lvl30 ammies, armor, boots, helms, cloaks, belts and weapons but very few gloves and no rings yet except for the antiruby, brom and deep pearl, which aren't generic upgrade types.

yes this was a very fun quest, especially with everyone getting a lvl at the end. gj DMs!

and ive seen some of tekk's rings and must say...he got the best drop next to nemesis

well the event was a blast except for my constant crashing lol....

i got 8 rings all together 4 kinds 2 of each...

epic shadows hide MS +7
epic awareness spot listen search +7
epic bard perform taunt lore +7
epic caster conc spellcraft +7

im 99% sure these r the right stats if they r wrong i will edit at somepoint

i just wish i wouldntve taken in a lvl 40 so i couldve got xp lol...

anyhow great job DMs hope to see more of these events in the future

actually i got all six +4 stat books! woot. thanks to the devs for stat books! cant wait for +20 stat books heheeh

aye, those were some very generous prizes

and as far as +20 stat books go , so hrmmm :

+1 = lol
+2 = 5k
+4 = 20k
+6 = 40k ?

...

+20 = 200k

hehehe

A +20 book would probably cost even more than that to use.
