Gumppy wrote:dc is 10 + spell lvl + ab modifier (int, wis, cha depends on class) + your spell focus so +6 for epic

so a lvl 9 wiz spell cast by a mage with 40 int and epic spell focus is

10+9+15+6 = 40 dc

Does this count on ALL NWN servers or just this one??

Unfortunately, trying to counterspell is such a PITA, it's little wonder few people even bother. Bioware really botched by making accessible only from the radial (ok, it's useful only in single player when you can actually pause the game).

That is the stock nwn formula for spell DCs. Any servers that change it will be different. This is why you have a manual.

Can't you quickslot just about anything from the radial?

You can quickslot almost anything except counter-spell which is extremely annoying, trying to fumble through the radial while getting pummeled isnt any fun

I was able to quickslot counterspell. I used it, but if you move a fraction of an inch, or change position, or anything, you go out of CS mode.

At least now it's only as annoying as power attack, rapid shot, defensive casting etc.
