One Hour Wait to Log In

I've never had to wait for more than 5 minutes to log on.

Then again, I don't do much in the way of transfers and will usually play one character a night. But crashes? Oh, yes. There will be crashes.

To clear it up. We are maxed at 46 logins on this server. I would actually like to see it at 40 to keep lag to a minimum.

To free up more space would involve building another box (which we will have to do for ns5-nwn2)

Currently we have the one new server and an older machine that is running as a backup/dev repository.

I could possibly build another machine similiar to the dev box and run a 2nd instance of ns4 with about 30-34 players max. Im not sure if it could be setup to share the vault/db or not.

The only other way would be to build a machine similiar to the one we just did and try to link them that way(Doubtful the vault could be shared)

With nwn2 and ns5 development looming close Im not sure what we will do as far as adding more machines at this time. Yes I have the bandwidth to support 150-200 players but the nwn engine will only allow 40-46 and stay stable per BOX.

We will put our heads together and come up with something.
