You never know til you get a toolset in your hands, but the scripting engine should be the same - same methods available, etc. Just adding some additional stuff to it. It's the graphics engine that they rewrote from the ground up.
Other things are rumored to be importable (non-graphical elements), but like I said, we'll know when we have something to play with.
