Well, as a paladin from Daeron, you could always head down to the Highlands, ferry to Sunken Isle and from there sail to the Grey Shores. Garagoth is only a short way south from there. Alternatively, you could head to Frostdale which also has a ferry to the Grey Shores. Some of Tiamat's followers can't even spell her name right.
What are her enemies to think, that all the old wyrm can get for followers are Kids Scribbling Things?
There was a time, not long ago, when it did indeed look as though AO's domination of Aetheria was a foregone conclusion. But now, thanks to Kids Shouting Things, that conclusion is in grave doubt.

AO -IS- a pretty dominant force no matter who inhabits it,
1.the guards have true seeing and most can't be KD'd,
2.the duo dragon leaders are the toughest bosses of all the factions to kill
3.PCs building RDD's is a no-brainer, they are super powerful with simple builds like Paly/soc/rdd, bard/barb/rdd, any fighter-type/bard/rdd, or even monk/soc/rdd has potential, etc... though I have seen many horrible builds using RDD as well (ahhhredrumhemmm!)
