Maybe because the world itself is engaging and a good majority of the players here dont equate PvP with Arena. We are lucky in that while PvP does happen and is part of the world, that most of our players dont see the ability to enter into PvP means that they MUST enter into PvP.

This is exactly right. The Neversummer 4 PW is very well done. If I must put up with the random pker/griefer every now and then, i'm willing to accept that as part of playing here.

Yeah but Ragnar's Kin are the allies of Sleeth too so you're not limited to just Sleeth to avoid being PKed by kst.

Very true we do not kill people from either one of these guilds intentionally. The other day i threw my hellball at some random noobie in oger pass and i accidentally caught a group of sleeth do gooders so naturally i offered rezzes

When I first read the rules, I was under the impression that attacking other players or using Pickpocket on them was not supposed to be done while they were engaged in combat with monsters.
I have since gone back and tried to find that rule, but found only where it applies to pickpocketing.

So, in order to redefine my level of alertness during monster combat, can you attack an "enemy" player while they are fighting monsters

Though be warned: some players really hate it when you ambush while they're fighting monsters. Especially if they end up getting killed.

Some people can only kill you in this manner. It is their idea of an accomplishment or some such gratification for the deed they could otherwise not accomplish.

I actually don't care myself. It is a rough world out there and you will kill or be killed. I generally do not attack unless attacked. (Note here; attacking my allies is the same as attacking me!)

I keep track of those who attack me and to use some one elses name *I hunt you down* I will find you eventually and yes kill you.

I do remember that this is all part of the game and I do not make it my priority in life to hunt someone every time they log in. If I see you, your on the menu. It's that simple! I am a happy go lucky Dwarf who is prone to drinking to excess and also loves to fight. So PvP is fine by me.
