PK/PvP, Any CoC on this one?

Yes, my best suggestion is to make tons of friends who play often. That, or have a friend who is apart of a much larger guild filled with 20+ characters

we should compile a dictionary on all the differnt ways people have found to whine about okies...

also, why not kill 2 birds with one stone and write a comedic book about how people entertain others.

only thing worse than people whining is people whining about whining.

I believe the two of us who were "whining" were really just trying to get a handle on how PvP has been working in NS4. All the contructive posts about our whining have been really helpful.

Keep laughing. Typical Saturday 2 months ago = full. Server tonight = 11/64. Very soon you will find yourself laughing alone on an empty server.

Words to the wise....It....will....get....worse.

When I started, okie was the only game in town, now there are slaves, and before long there will be a million more okie-clones just like the slaves who pk for the fun of pking. And then, when all the n00bs have left the server and the okie-wannabes actually have to fair duel for their pks, they too will leave.

There's nothing wrong with okies and slaves...well, maybe the slaves

...It's a flaw of the system itself!

When you allow for a PvP world, some people are going to get a head start on the leveling, and then a headstart on the PKing. What happens then is that the lower level people getting whacked start to band together for protection. And then they form a clan. Then they decide that they have to make sure nobody gets strong enough to kill their members, so the clan becomes a clan of PKers. Then a different crew decides that they'll do the same thing, and they form their own clan, and so on.

What happens is that newbies will eventually be entering NS4 having to choose a clan to join, as well as a faction. Makes it more complicated. But I love it! Games are like a reflection of life: getting beat on by the bigger kid? Get a crew together. That's how I joined my gang, btw.

The two things that are a bit disreputable are the following: whacking somebody in your own faction, and "camping" in prime areas. Mainly because killing somebody in faction makes faction alliances useless. And camping is weak (try camping in Unreal Tourney and you'll get fragged to death). Of course, camping does allow for protecting of lower level clan members who are lvling in the area, and pisses off people. So that's funny. And we all need amusement.

And stoning people? Wow, that's sweet in how vicious it is. Keep up the good work slaves!

Wow I havent heard this much complaining about being killed ever. Why do you people automatically assume we're ''okie clone wannabe's'', we're nothing like them and we make 10x better builds. If you havn't been noticing, As a slave we protect our faction AO, and our allies and RK allies. Helping our allies is something we and we are supportive of our faction AO. If your an ally of AO or RK and you see a Slave, do not run, just say hi and we'll say hi back, if you need help we'd surely love to help you. On the other hand, if your hostile, well we have no reason why not to kill you, your an enemy, get over it! I dont care if your effortless or impossible, im still going to attack you if the time is right. Ofcourse everyone is crying over fair fights, theres not always going to be a fair fight, yet if someone challenges one of us through a ''tell'' wed be up for that, I dont want everyone to suspect us as being Okies, we're nothing like them and we plan to overtake them, If you dont want to be an enemy of the Slaves, come join us in AO or RK, thats the only answer i have for you all... And btw with people crying about being stoned... get over it, iv been flesh to stoned many of times.. we'll only flesh to stone if your very unliked

i am glad you think that slave builds are better, since there are no epic areas yet. you think all those casters in slaves will have DC's that hold up against other lvl 40's. tisk tisk tisk. it's a curse to have sight in the land of the blind......and just for the record, okies PK better than slaves. some of the slaves are entertaining, but over all they pale in comparison to okies. grease and bigsby's aint' gonna hold up at 40 and most of the slaves will go back to the drawing board. i am deperately looking forward to the slaves responding telling everyone how they are superior to okies, and how they PK just as much and better than okies. but the veterans know the imitators

Its funny how you talk about saying we're not going to be able to kill in the epic areas... keep in mind my caster is lvl 19. . . . I dont think we'll plan on going back to the drawing boards because you said it yourself, there aren't epic areas yet, meaning we havnt got to proceed anywhere past lvl 22. So basically you made no sense. And yes we do have better builds then the Okies yet we can't proceed with them only getting to lvl 20. I do think our builds are better because Emperor Okie Raegen is lvl 31 and he was beaten by my lvl 19... his build doesnt seem too strong. None of our builds have been seen to their fullest effects yet anyway. And as i said before, we dont just PK randomly like Okies... we actually have allies..and dont forget.. we're new to the ns community, but you will see us more and more.

Servers are at 14, 27, and 32 out of 64 each at 12:30 AM EST... on July 4th, when there are fireworks to watch. I'd hardly call this a typical night...
