Hm, are you implying multiple zones with the same name? That will indeed make mapping a challenge!
I'll make a map list and transition thing and give it to DD for uploading on the site.

im not saying the ns4 map Radpro just like a little sample of how it would look in excell. like even make up names like: moki's house, moki's backyard. just so we get an idea of how one would map with a spreadsheet.

Considering the fact that only a handful of people can get on and play the beta atm, mapping in NS is limited to NS3 for the majority of the players (me included)
But I second the motion by Moki, give us an simplified example of how to map in excel (anything that will boost my working knowledge of excel will be greatly appreciated ).

It's fairly easy, if tedious. Make each area a set of merged cells(4 in a square as a minimum). Leave cells between each area. Use the border function in cell formating to delineate the areas and to draw the transitions.
But any good flowcharting program is easier to use for this.
