The Gods said nothing about Twig remaining Silenced.. So Twig speaketh..

The other day while heading to RK for a picnik, Twig encountered a single inevitable.. quick and agressive it was but it fell in the end to repeated clubing with a tree trunk. Its death brought about a sudden shift in rift influences, resulting in Twigs relocation to Elisyilum.. Wherin a horde of its breathern were happy to exact thier revenge over the fallen comrad. The place itself was somewhat ethereal, the ineveitables were anything but. So be sure to stop by your local clergy to confiess thy sins and sign thine will before visiting once open.

Like sands though the hour glass, so are the Twigs or our Tree.

One more planar area to close the loop.. then you could run from Abyss to Celestia without leaving the planar areas and their nexuses.

Chugging along. 6 creatures that look pretty good, 3 more getting opinions on. 8ish to go creature-wise, two of the nine maps spawned (one will be pretty easy).

Hopefully get this guy open for business soon. (Time estimate is like 1/2 hour per creature to get everything about them done, then probably double that evaluating. Spawning an area is pretty easy, have a general idea of where to put things. One or two special abils to do and test, those can be really easy or really finicky). End of the month should be possible, depending on free time of people involved of course (we need to run some level 35 lame builds through it a few times so we laugh harder at you when you die).

Need to know what items are under-represented, have:
-med armor (just have to sneak it past Linux and onto my shifter), cloak, ring x 2, at least one robe so far that have some uniqueness to them.
-top of the line shortbow, heavy flail, katana, whip.
What else is needed (I'd need to be bribed to add another finessable weap)?

It's hard to tell, as one never knows what items are in NS4 that aren't on the wiki and that you haven't seen personally, but just looking at the wiki there are no top end (meaning +6 or greater enhancement): sickle (best I know of is +5 skara, which also isn't on wiki), crossbows both great and small, light flail, etc.

Xerona drops a +7 light hammer in Celestia and you always have the Lich's Wrath from HOD for Double Axe. I have no idea about club.

Also, there needs to be a +6 scythe.

Fie on light flail. Morningstar is crazy better in every way. It's dead to me :)

Sickle = finessable = there's one in Forest Home, but not utterly superior to Skara.

I've got a place for a scim, bracer/gauntlet so that's good.

2axe does have that nice overhead swing deal but think I'll pass on that and scythe.

What's lacking in shields? Keeping named shields straight or digging through all several hundred of them is not going to happen :)

Small shields are supremely lacking aside from the Black Shield, really. Just generic and Black Shield. Large, there's not much else other than Gamulk's, and that's the ever common pierce resist/immunity. Need more unique Bludge and Slash resist Large shields.

It would be nice to see some Katanas, but no one really uses them as they suck compared to Scimitar or Longsword even. It would be nice to see another +7 rapier that actually drops, but not a big deal and I doubt I'll see that happen as you hate everything dexer, Lokey. And probably since it's such a common weapon choice you'd rather not. Kukri would be another nice addition if you don't want to go with rapier. We also don't need another top of the line whip. Got two already in Balrog Whip and Cord of Resonance (from Abyss and DE respectively). I think Alka is right in Club needs to be added looking at a weapons list right now (Using the wikia, which is incomplete so I may not have any idea what I'm talking about, still haven't seen most Abyss gear). Crossbows would be a nice addition as well.

Large Shields with ele immunities besides Fire
Small Shields -" " Cold
Matching Physical resit/immune would be nice too , Mixed ones rarely come in handy ie,Hecuva shield, LumiDefender (though still a great shield)

A decent Shortbow wouldnt be too bad for the wee folk aswell

and did i mention DoubleAxe :twisted:

Sounds Awesome :D

Small shields need some help, large shields after Rags and Huecuva and DWP (forget name) don't have much to go on either (as far as high end items go) afaik. (Another thing besides short bow that wee folk need)

yeah, heavy flails, shortbows, other weaps nobody uses are the things that need a boost. Spear, trident, darts, shuriken. A good battleaxe drops in DWP already. Crossbow. Sling - I want a halfling AA!

The last thing we need is more rapier or kukri guys running around. Gimme a reason to make a light flail WM - give one extended crit range, or make em dual damage like mstars (bludge and slash?) Or that's halfling only for itty bitty dual wielders.

Dwarven waraxe that any dwarf can use - there's dorfs in elyssia, right? No? What if they shower first?

- Sickle would be nice to see. The only +6 is the IA sickle... FH and Royal are both +5
- Mace
- Large shields (as small creatures cannot use tower and there are not that many large shields out there)
