Let me clarify that alittle, after i posted i realized i was vague
the armor stiffing was still there, wouldnt go away till after rest
but my Favor/Power/Aura effects would return

he was STR based as well
so the stiffing of the Armor didnt bother him
Hope that helps clear things up

What item is this? All i can recall from SL jobs is the Vial of Lolth (acid 2x/day) and the Mask (20% conceal). The last job gives you +1 dex/int but no token, if I remember correctly.
Death Dealers ::DD::
Laufer - Gemetzel - Force - Little Fist - Egil - Torture - Hatshepsu - Nemesis - Hierophant - Supernaut - Flesh Hound - Insurrection - Antithesis - Dead of Winter - Volcanus 2000

Uhg, and No, Restore doesnt return my AB on Monolith
until the the Token timer is off, or i die
his AB keeps dropping as buffs continue to drop
or until he rests, but a restore will return your ab to norm

Again, sorry for all the broken posts, kids driving me nuts

You should know you use it all the time. It's not a job item it's the etherealness from the ghostly visage he is referring to.

And I still haven't heard Mamba say he used the miner's forge and not the slammer, the SS doesn't show anything. I've tried several times to recreate this without success. The reason I ask is that burra was fairly certain the AB loss was due to the slammer and not the miner's forge. It could be the forge. Did he glow red after he used it or did he have the yellow circular sparklies around him?

I Vaguely remember the fight, i hit both tokens during it thou
and not sure of which one it was tbh

I dont use Diamond that often, his wonderful ab/ac is negated by various things
but i do use both tokens on him, as he's a WM not cleric
and the miners dont rip his ab down as it does my Heavy Cleric

There is something that RK has that lowers AB you see crazys shot there. I've had it effect Banshee and Melkor. We assume its the Miner's Forge as we don't think people fall over when they use it.

If i had a frendly dworf i would test it but must of them get very angrey and try and kill me... someting about taking there ale or soemthing. :?:

Thats nothing but a bunch of BS ashe. The second you brought it to our attention that the MA token was unshifting and dropping ab we stopped using it. When we told you gents about the RK token you used it more often, and as mamba says, he was already aware of the problem and used it anyway. So tell me again, who is exploiting?

it affects me as much as it does you...
simple fix, dont use a divine favor/might or wrath around it
dont accuse me of useing an exploit again

I'm starting to get alittle ticked off over makeing accusations at me
I dont do it to you...dont do it to me

Wouldnt not using the bugged job item make more sense than asking a Cot to not use one of their main class abilities?

here's a funny. i have a ranger/monk with blinding speed that is pretty darn fast outdoors. he has keen senses and 53 search. so, i see the traps just fine. the problem is, when i'm just running through maps, i run fast enough that even though i see them i still trigger them cause i'm dumb and don't stop in time. i guess even though i'm fast i need to go slower? so really having search isn't the only thing you need.

as far as rk token, the problem i had is being flatfooted for one full round. when activating it, i frequently took a lot of damage in order to use it. now its like, i have to be flatfooted for a round and if successful (seldom) they'll be prone for two rounds. its kind of a net of one round. that's not a good trade off even when it works. if it was guaranteed to work (like the fighter/barb token) that would almost be worth it. i did think it was WAAAAYYYY overpowered compared to the AO jobs (j/k). no problems with it tho. its more of something to laugh at now. "Haha!! Youuu failed my slammer. Youuu failed my... OW! You're hitting me back already?!"

i really only ever saw one or two fights determined by the slammer. bolg would actually fail it sometimes. but i would take a beating while activating it. i'd see him fail it the save and lie down for a nap and think, "cool!!" then his summons would continue to whoop my tail. after i was dead and burra was back to his desk with a fresh drink; bolg would stand up, dust himself off, pat his summons on the hind end and carry on his way. lol.

Yet another reason to put more than 1 level of rogue in your build, the traps that is. Great change guys!

As for the job tokens, anything that stops the climb in uberness in the right choice imo.

If you knew it was not working correctly and you still used it for your own gain, especially without reporting it,
then by definition you're exploiting. Was it intentional exploitation on your part? Well that's subject to argument,
but technically speaking you were exploiting mamba, no way around it. Take it how you will.
;) What're you gonna do, take my Birthday away?

The problem is that your buddy there was hurling the "exploit" insult first, so take it up with him that you're getting rolled into the argument. You still should have said something about it being a problem the moment you noticed it not working correctly.

Failing the RK slammer was always something to laugh at when someone failed, even though my first half ogre weaponmaster was ridiculed by Gary BB all the time for failing it ... all the time. Our first online server was NS3.5. Saves? What are those?

"aren't there any helms with immunity to mind effects?" was a question I asked someone when I came on the server. Strangely all they replied with was "lol." I had to figure it out for myself.
