You aren't a linguist I presume. If you learn a language like french or english, you will encounter many rules that have a lot of exceptions. Take the pronunciation of the vocal U for instance. But back on topic.

This is all I was saying. Lots of rules have exceptions. It is the definition of an exception to be contrary to the rule. Not a confirmation of it. "exceptions which confirm the rule" Exceptions which confirm a rule cannot exist. The statement is contradictory. I couldn't figure out which group you were trying insult. Jebbo or the rest of us.
