Nerfed Heal Kits are in!!!

whats your heal skill? 23 isnt toooooo bad, but its not the 45-55 im getting with mah druid...then again i havent logged in for a few days D=

Guerilla math! its the only way to go. That is some weird stuff...maybe the server took a few points off because you got hit when you used heal?

Nope, it happened more than once and even on times when I wasn't hit before or after for a full round.

Mmmm if they are capped to 23 they are kinda useless, if they are capped at your roll -8 it's a fair trade i suppose

In other words however....perhaps your wisdom is low which is causing the minus?

I seem to get in the 50's with my heal skill (soon to be 60's) with medit lvl 8's.

19 + 12 = 31 (PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE + 12 !!!)

I only healed 23 points!!! NOT 31!!!

No I wasn't healed to full health.
No I wasn't hit for damage the round before OR after the heal took place.

So the obvious conclusion is that the devs "fixed" the heal skill

This move pisses me off but it's the right move for heal kits.

ah, but you realize they could have set a max amount for each heal kit... say +1 can heal upto 6 hp and a +2 can do 9.
is it somethign along those lines? sum1 check or sumthing....

Only one of the Devs could give a certain answer to this, but maybe the game does seperate rolls for the heal poison/disease check and the heal hp check? So you could have gotten a 19 for the poison/disease check and only an 11 for the hp healing check (which didn't show on the screen). Is this "bug" reproducable?

As i said, if the healing skill has been changed so that you heal as much hps as your healing roll -8 is a fair trade

And no, it's not a check against poison/disease 'cause the DC is 0, he was trying to simply heal himself, rolled a total of 31 and healed of 23.

Well, I know this is less than scientific evidence, but I used a heal kit this morning and it healed me equal to the roll + my skill... 41 points I believe.

No, I don't recall the math, nor the bonus on the healing kit, sorry.
