Was levelling with my 10 (briefly 11) melee char earlier this evening... scouts (CR 11) are easy, warriors require healing several times.... and a rogue popped out of nowhere and slaughtered me. Ouch.
I re-gained my level on doggies outside the dragon.

So only real change is guardians are a bit rough? Which part. ab, dmg ac?
How about the boss. is he hard enough. does he die too fast etc?
I like the Mezzos between the mountains and Silver road - makes the area even more desireable.

Guardians are hard, but seem to go down fast enough if you treat them as something that needs to be killed right away.

The boss does seem to go down fairly easy, though I've only tried after luring away and killing all but a couple of the spawns near it, and then attacked the boss with a balanced group fully buffed.

if anything the guardians need a bit less damage output IMO a dwarf WM i was messin with in there could handel everything ok except if i ran into more than one guardian at a time even with 10 pierce dr item on they still were doing 40+ damage per hit x 4 ( might be 3 cant recall off hand) att per round this adds up quick. maybe a reduction of about 15% or so on their output.

on the flip side tho the guardians do make it more of a party leveling place rather than a solo place as their are only a fiew on the first map but alot on the second ( never got past the first part of the second map so i dont know if thers more than 2 lol )

So scouts need a little ab or ac? I could change them to ranged but that may make them very very hard:)

Guardians need strength lowered most likely.

Boss needs little more ac and resist and hitpoints. Does he do enough dmg?

Keep in mind also that the guardians are cr 17 so a single lvl 15 should have problems fighting a couple of them at a time.

Scouts are fine as is... CR 11, and they are harder to hit than Ogre Berserkers (CR 12). I think they have a bit less AB to compensate.

Ran into one archer... he murdered my level 10. More dangerous than an Ice Walker.

Was just wondering exactly where this Mezzoloth area is at if anyone knows. Been looking around redhorn Pass and stuff but can't seem to find it. Is it in the Underdark or does it have it's own area?

Thanks

Chief...you are not even close. Take old wyrm road to the north and hang a left. You will be in the ballpark after you get through the bottomless pit. If you have any more questions, take a look at the wiki maps. The area is in the Ash Mountains.

Thanks for the info. Been all thru the Redhorn Canyon and Redhorn Pass and couldn't find it. But, yes, I have been trying to find it on my own for awhile now and I posted here as a last resort.
