VIII - Thou shalt not disrupt the server community. Behaviors that directly affect other players, DMs, or others in general that are deemed disruptive by a DM shall not be tolerated. This is not open to debate on the forums.

One DM (or player's) allowance is anothers fobidden. Could I ask from the Admin for two or three examples as to what maybe concidered as being "Behaviors that directly affect other players,", that "disrupt the server community."

Here’s a couple for you:

Constantly sending tells to someone who asks you to stop
Following someone around for a long time so they can never rest, especially in Avendell/Frostdale
Starting a conversation with a merchant then not doing anything so nobody else can talk to him
Going AFK for an extended period of time in a high traffic area keeping spawns from returning
Spamming DM channel with “DM on?” (my personal most annoying) after getting 10 of those from 1 person I am ready to smite them, as was stated dozens of time state your problem, if you don’t want to RP it fine but “I am stuck in planar store” “I am getting a black screen on login with a character”, etc

basically it's the "don't be an asshat" catchall. it helps cut the backchatter when they need to lay the smackdown on rules lawyers.

what is an asshat? if you got to ask, you aint never gonna know.

Disastro inelegantly hits it on the head: "disrupting the community" is a catch-all against people being jerks.

It's a lot like art... you can't define jerkdom, but you know it when you see it.
