Wild Wood & Circle cradle access
I get it. Just explaining the situation for people, since most of the responses miss the point of how dramatically different this change is for TC.
There are a number of issues with relic cradles: distance to get to them, number of encounters to get them, and defensibility. Wildwood has made the Circle relic easier for raiders and harder for defenders in all these ways. I'll report back on what the Circle cradle map changes do to the picture once I check it out.

OK, there's 1 of me, and 3 different paths to cover. He may take the direct path home, or he might go the long way around to avoid getting pwned by me. I have a 1 in 3 chance of even being in the right area to interdicted him. For most other factions, it's just 1 or 2 places they can meet a raider. (don't do a lot of offensive raiding, so there's a couple I've yet to fully explore)

That's only if we can get back in time. Once they step outside of the relic cradle area itself, they're pretty much free to run anywhere they want.

Welcome to the world of defending. The key you are missing is that you MUST get there before they leave, else you might as well forget about it.watchwood wrote:That's only if we can get back in time. But, it's such a draining job that, until you've DMed on an NWN server yourself, you the playerbase, have got to cut the DMs some slack. - Flailer
