Turkey Day Quest - Zombie Birds from Beyond the Moon!

Post by Yonwe »

Nota Bene - The quest has been pushed back 24 hours to allow us to balance out the custom monsters for the quest; make note!

The turkeys shan't stand for it anymore, and have taken up arms...

After being victimized for hundreds of years by the civilized peoples of Aetheria, the meek and humble turkeys of the multiverse have found their means of revenge: pledging their immortals souls to the dark gods and rampaging across the face of the world with 'nary a hero able to stop them! Led by the dark lord of turkeys, aptly named the Dark Lord of Turkeys, who can stop this marauding band of undead white meat before all Neversummer falls to them?

The When - 9pm Eastern, Saturday, the 25th of November

The Where - Forces shall rally in Frostdale just inside the city gates

The How - To drive the vanguard of the Turkey army back to the Halls of the Dead and seal them inside forever with Draco Mortis

The Reward - Whoever loots the Gizzard of Unlimited Turkey-ish Power from the dead Dark Lord of Turkeys shall receive a full set of +4 ability books; others shall enjoy miscellaneous helpings of dressing, drumsticks, and sundry magic items!

It'll be on Universe A, not Reflections.

It looked like a new guild called the Fists of RK was starting up or something, it stood out quite a bit.

There aren't restrictions or requirements, but it's going to be a tough quest... the DMs wave all insurance liability for a wholesale massacre of lvl 25s who want to play with the big kids :)

To ballpark it, I'd say that it will be comparable to 3-4 runs through the Neg. Eng. Plane, which will hopefully be easier than at other times since I'm sure the quest party will have many more people (and clerics) than normally. That said, the Dark Lord of Turkeys shall surely be bringing some hurt to Aetheria!

Sounds crashy, last time I was in event with a party so large my computer sued me for cruelty.
