dunno if i just missed it. or its already a known bug that i dont know. never buy arrows and place them on coffer then talk to NPC and buy them. you will be paying arrows that you wont be getting. buying 2 coffer full of arrow that cost around 3k a quiver was really a pain.
i guess i learned it the hard way. hehehehe. as if anyone even uses bow now a days. oh well

There is a general bug I have noticed when buying in shops, which seems to involve the following:
1) Buying large quantities of items (aka arrows)
2) Lag
3) Quick clicking through the menus
Normally, when you are buying from the shop, and you click the initial "purchase" option, he will give the price and ask if that is correct. If you look at your combat log, you should also notice that the items you are buying are removed from your inventory temporarily. Upon clicking yes, you lose the money and regain the items.
It seems that should the above three circumstances be met, the game does not have enough time to collect all the items you are buying, thus not marking them as being properly bought. You still lose the money, naturally.
Of course, I could be describing a different problem completely, in which case this too is a problem...

But, it's such a draining job that, until you've DMed on an NWN server yourself, you the playerbase, have got to cut the DMs some slack. - Flailer
