Can't connect

It keeps on saying "Server timed out, can't connect"

What is going on? ;(

I've bee reading the threads since I still cant connect.

Tried creating a shortcut that connects directly as suggested using
C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\nwmain.exe +connect ns4beta1.servegame.com:5121
and I still get timed out. :evil:

Help please.

try: :60001 instead of :5121. I read somewhere that it switched recently again. Only some users might be affected by this tho. Maybe the providers are guilty or gamespy, or just those outside the USA are affected. But who cares anyway, as long as you are able to connect

I kept reading the threads and came across this by kgb

"Perhaps try the following as it is a bit strange:

1. Open a command prompt box - go start > run > type: cmd
2. Type: ipconfig /flushdns
3. Type: ipconfig /registerdns "

It worked! I'm connected!

F:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\nwmain.exe +connect ns4beta1.servegame.com:60001

Works for connecting to NS4-ORIGINAL server....
(be sure to dictate he proper HD letter and dir for your system.....

)

you won't be able to connect to Reflections unti Fire gets it sorted out.
