scrolls are fine. Its not like you can buy them.
They are a luck find or crafted with sweat and blood.
Just curious
Hm after reading the description of Bigby, I doubt a Mantle would help against it. SR doesnt either. Or does a Mantle help? Just curious.
About the rOgUe or bard and scrolls, resp. UMD: the scroll's lvl isn't very high, well depending on the spell mostly. I don't like the idea that a rogue could cast a high lvl spell from a scroll, depending on a high skill. A mage needs for this action hard earned lvls and feats.
But this point is discussed in vain anyway as it won't be changed as it seems.

on a side note they fixed this problem in D&D 3.5 and NW2. So in NS5 you shouldnt be able to save skill points, its use them or loose them, aswell as you cannot excede the level/skill amount per class lvl not total character level. so even if you can save them you cant dump more than 4 points per class level into any one skill
