random items

has anyone ever gotten random items in their inventory after logging in or after relogging after a crash? its happened to me a couple of times when i check through my inventory pages and find things that i never picked up or that i would never pick up. it seems random in its appearance and frequency, but i get the feeling i'm not the only one this happens to.

Sometimes i get that feeling. I usually have too much stuff in my inventory to keep track of all of it but I have noticed that sometimes things disappear or appear and I dont remember where from. Though recently I definitely did notice about 5 staves disappear after a crash.

I figured it was just rolling back your inventory to the last time it happened to save it.

aye crashes do rollback everything on your toon to a previous point -- most of the time, although i have seen wierd results as well.....as far as things popping up randomly or vanishing---other than from crashes, i havent seen anything wierd ---- yet

i hope it stays that way.

Wow I must be the only unlucky one that with the rollback I loose items in my inventory even if they were not acquired in the time period it was rolled back

Your not the only opne. The two times it happened to me was server crashed just as I got items onto my mule and before I had a chance to log it.

All I could do was "sigh". NS life goes on...

i'm not talking about server rollback and losing items. i'm talking about suddenly having a couple of new weapons and some armor.

all this stuff comes in un id'd. the last time it happened i ended up with enchanted mithril shield, enchanted mithril scythe, a flamestrike scroll, and an endurance crystal. i'm just wondering if anyone else is getting things popping into their inventories.

We've found the exit point of the black hole, everyone! And it's in DD1's backpack!
