Relic Defender Logging
I'm just wondering about the distance that relogging defenders are transported from their home cradle.
Twice for AO I know I got transported to the far side of the 4th screen towards Beryn from the AO cradle.
I just touched the relic cradle for Drow, ran directly out of the temple and straight to the right. Didn't fight anyone, just ran directly to the screen that has the n00b barracks on it. As soon as I entered that screen there was already a defending cleric there buffing as well as a defending mage that had relogged to defend.
Seems a little unfair that they aren't teleported as far away as other factions are. Or did I get screwed the two times I relogged to defend?
Maybe this needs a little rechecking? Perhaps take a stop watch and pick an amount of time to run and set the relog distances to an equal distance for all factions?

right, 4 mapsDeath Dealer1 wrote:they can spawn in that noob room with a rift shard right off the relic in AO. to not be ported from a relic log you have to be atleast 2 zones away from the relic. SL gets ported to the far side of the legion tunnels by the gnolls when they are too close. its like 3-4 maps from relic.
left NS4 for a few months or maybe forever

So everyone thinks it's cool like this or should should a defender logging in within the 4 screen port range be ported out to the 4 screen range?
I think they should be ported out. Though 4 screens isn't exactly equitable in that some screens are bigger than others and/or some screens can't be run straight across but must run across zigzag thus taking longer.
A timed run of an equal amount for each faction then a port set at that distance would seem the fairest. As for the length of time... 1:15 @ normal base run speed sounds good. Though I haven't timed how long it currently takes so I don't know how that compares to current ranges.
