Bard Palemasters?

Are there any restrictions in NS3like restrictions for palemasters in NS4? I'm curious about building one, and want to know if there's anything like the 10 wiz/sorc lvl requirement, or the pm lvl before lvl 21.

Nope, you're free to take PM with any arcane class meeting the requirements, at any level once you qualify. However, it's likely that sometime soon some changes will be made regarding the total levels required... stay tuned!

yeah..which kills me PM and makes me not be able to lvl past 17 until we know what changes we are getting....

If your going Pm you need to take it to 30. Thats the only way you get the bad boy summon.

If we implement the class level rule it will be in 5s.

My best PM build, and those of you who fought me rampaging through ns know it well. Is a Sorc/Cleric PM

It is a 4/6 I think and under new rules would have to be a 5/5. Wiz/Cleric
I would consider bard for a little extra bonus but it doesnt matter. You dont use the arcane spells really anyway. Sorc cleric is nice for item access.

But you end up wearing full armor and shield and having almost 70 ac and a monster next to you that gives the new draco a run for its money.

yeah, my PM is going to be a 30PM build...but i wanted 7fighter/3wiz. since your casting class isn't that important to the PM build if you want fighter presence i didn't want to waste levels on it...looks like i have to take those 2 levels of wiz after all....
