Hats off to Zing for all the hard work on the scoreboard. It is really nice and the Dragon Flights are wonderful as well. Thank you
Disarmed weapons going into owners inventory however really sucks. All you have to do is have your weapon quickslotted and you hit your F key and it's back. Really nerfs the heck out of disarm and makes it almost useless. I believe the whiners should stop complaining about losing their weapons and just run back to where you got it the first time or negotiate to get it back.
My opinion only but I think it takes away a very important aspect of the whole relic stealing.
As always,

Actually the way I have it set up you lose the quick slot of a disarmed weapon.
Therefore you don't lose the weapon but you will need to re quick slot it.
Glad you like the scoreboard and the dragons anyhow.

If you had 6 quickslots all pointing to a disarmed weapon you would lose them all yes. Nothing to stop you having a backup weapon quickslotted though.
In tests we found that a toon that gets disarmed is still in plenty of trouble despite not losing his weapon.

Disarm
Ok as one of the major Disarm offenders of course I am going to post something about this new change. As much as I must commend you for being up to date with the current complaint about Disarms I believe you may not see the other side of it. I originally made Disciple Red as an Anti PK character and everytime kSt or any other PKer would come up to me and attempt to kill me I would make it cost them a weapon. I believe this may be why kSt started making disarming characters because I would always charge them to get their weapons back. I never used the disarm offensively and would always offer the weapons back. Now if you implemented something like their is with Pick Pockets where the weapon is tagged and killing the Disarmer makes them Drop the weapon again I would be all for the changes, but for them to loose nothing is only helping to NERF FIGHTERS MORE!!!

That's what Discipline is for. Just like when people [censored] about Shadow Dancers. They have spot and listen for detecting them. Why would Disarm be singled out. I have lost more items to Shadow Dancers defending cities then I have lost weapons to Disarm. It's just another aspect of the game and not truly in need of nerfing. I wish I could say just deal with it but it looks like you won't have to anymore... Congratulations to those who whined loud enough to get one more fighter ability nerfed. Welcome to the realm of Shadow Dancing Clerics and Mages.

Dude Milkman you are obviously one of the whiners. Makes me wonder just what kind of things are comming next. Will we not be allowed Knockdown next because someones relic gets stolen by someone using knockdown to keep a mage or cleric on the ground? It's all a bunch of bullcrap when whoever whines the most suddenly becomes the one who wants what's best for the "community". This isn't for community it's about making it a kiddie park in here.
OOHH don't want someone to have to go reclaim a weapon.."that's too harsh and abusable"...well what about the double hasting Shadowdancing Monk Sorcerrors who pwn you and run so fast with your relic that you could never catch them? And disarm is too rough? If i'd have wanted an amusement park I'd have gone to an RP server. Maybe that's what those others should do who think that they are being "roughed up" by the disarms.

I agrre with most ppl here as well, this new rule really sucks. This is supposed to be a bit realistic right?? So in reality if u got disarmed ur weapon wouldnt just happen to appear in ur back pack, and what kst auto just mentioned bout gettin ur discipline up is right.
I just hope this changes cause its really a bad idea. Maybe have a vote on it or something??

I am glad that this has changed. I stopped defending my faction as I got tired of loosing my weapon all the time, it is only fun for the ones that disarm and not the ones that continually loose their weapons. I do rarely use that many points in discipline and as a result stay away from the infamous disarming characters.
I have never experienced a disarmer that offered me my weapon back after a fight even though I never whine about it. I only silently curse a little as it cost me several hours to get a new weapon.

I tend to mind my own business, but I would like to offer an opinion on this. I guess you could call me a newb, as I don't have creating the perfect "build" down to a science, nor do I know where everything is in NS, nor do I know all the "little tricks", but I am a person who purchased the game, was turned on to NS3(pre-wipe I guess) and now NS4. I only play w/ a few ppl. from the server, as I only know a few from the server, other than my guildmembers. Having said all this, I still very much enjoy NS4, even though I fully understand it's a PVP server, and I can be fighting Ogres and someone can come by on a whim and leave me laying in a puddle of my own blood. Cool, part of the fun, and part of the reason I'm out there lvling in the 1st place. I've also been on 1 raid w/ my guild, it didn't go well, and I for one was dis-armed & killed.
As others have said, it's part of the game, or it would not have been implemented to begin w/. I didn't whine. I knew what I was getting into. After the fact, I nicely asked if it would be possible to get my weapon back, and he agreed. We met @ The Crossroads, he made me do a trick (wear no armor) and I recieved my weapons back, no harm, no foul. I also understand changes have to be made if things are being abused, and I can't really say it is being abused as the one experience I had being disarmed wasn't that bad, but for ppl. who build a char. using that as a weapon in their bag of tricks really lose out on this change. Even if he hadn't of given my weapon back, I'm sure I could have found or crafted another one. Wow, that was a long post just to say that I don't think disarm should be "nerfed" in this way, and I agree that if you were to get disarmed, it's unlikely that the weapon would fly out of your hand, into the air, and drop right into your backpack. Again, just an opinion.

on realism...
alright fellas i have a compromise suggestion. if you really wanna make disarm realistic, i suggest give it a 50% chance of working either way. if a person gets disarmed, there's a 50% chance that it'd fall on ground, and there's also a 50% chance that it'd fall on backpack. I think this would be a good compromise and wouldn't hurt both parties.
so if you're a heavy disarmer, you'll have to keep attempting disarms on him until it really drops on ground. (attempting to get that 50% drop on ground). what do you fellas think?

this may not be a relevant post on this thread but i have a suggestion on KD. it'd be nice if the devs allowed fighters, whenever they ahve successfully KD'd someone, the knocked person drops an item or an amount of cash on ground. make it something like 5% of the time so that it's not abusive. [this gives the effect that the knocked enemy drops a bit of his stuff on ground in reality lol] it'd be nice and be very helpful to melee types who have invested alot on his KD. any comments? lol if you want this on a differnt thread, fine with me
