folks,

some characters like to adventure alone. And if one attempt to ask to join aparty fails. maybe the character you are asking to join your party 1) is busy not dieing 2) is on a quest and doesn't want to join a party right then.

3)maybe later I'll join.

But continual demands are not the way to get me to join your party. Really.

I agree. I heard that some one threatened to repeatedly PP someone because they failed to invite them into their party/didn't accept an invite.

If I am leveling alone in an area and I run across someone, usually I'll invite them/accept an invite in order to share xp and get the synergy. But if I am transitiing or perhaps engaged in private party talk with guild members I might not want to party.

Thanks. I was beginning to think I was the only one who felt that way... after several different character attempts to get me to join up.

I did spot one character, after I refused, get severely injured. I did try to help, but they walk off without saying anything,must of thought I was only after the xp. I wasn't. I felt bad about not joining. Them stirges are a pain for brand new characters. But, they said nothing, so I walked away.

I did see a '[character name] is now angry at [my character]'. Gee whiz that was rude, if they selected that on purpose. I was only trying to help, and I wastrying to figure out how to hand them a heal light wounds, but they walked away.

Now all I gotta do is find the forest with the walking flame in it.

Too bad fire beetles cannot be killed for their glowing... (like 1E did...) then I could walk around singing about my little glowing fire beetle lantern, lighting my way in the dark of the park. (Sean, no laughing !

im betting the person who set you to dislike was an invader from another faction... prolly would have tryed to kill you on sight if he/she saw you.
