is there no way the devs can put jobs or quests in other factions too before the build comes up again? I've been hearing LA has them. Apparently our faction in SL has no jobs. It's quite hard to level. The LA would therefore crash into our territories and slay us (we're not tough enough, we can't progress as fast as they could).

i'd rather have NS4 up without jobs shorterly (not sooner :P) than later with more jobs. the devs are probably prioritizing bugs before features, which is the right thing to do.

i've only played SL so far, but from what i've read on the forums and from what i've experienced it seems that SL is having at least a slightly easier time leveling than, say, LA. unless the people on the forums are exaggerating about how long the respawns and such actually take. i've gotten several characters up to level 2 in little time (then realized the build was not-so-viable and started over)

We have jobs in LA but they don't add experience - they facilitate some bonuses, but really nothing major. Also I have not noted any quests as of yet. We do have some dedicated people like Chase and Kereng though who played and explored a lot. Otherwise I don't think there is any difference in the ability to progress. Since Server 4 seems to be really full all the time though, we have been canibalizing each others spawns it seems - which would suggest that we would level even slower than other factions that did not have so many people of the same levels in the same areas.

Also, Aileen came over (from SL or MA I forget which) and was pretty high level (8th I think), so it looks like people on your server can level if they put their minds to it.

As Billiard said, jobs don't add experience... although they do have other rewards. Unfortunately, they take some time to implement, both for level progression and for bonuses. If you have some ideas for jobs you think would fit in your faction, please suggest them - although any 'uber-job' ideas are going to be squelched. :)

Don't worry, we'll get them in ... but it might be a while

i've done a bit of exploring for a while and i can suggest faction jobs such as drow raiding quests (since there are drow raiding posts outside the HQ), seeking for sacrificial stuff, plain old dwarve hunts, etc. That sure would make it fun heheh. Also a good quest for level 1-4s are something i'd look forward to :)

There are alot of nice areas to get XP just one area outside LA territory...orcs, ogres, cougars, Nirgawaa, more advanced goblins, etc...just have to be careful that no one from the Enemy Factions spot you. Be ready to run, fight, or talk your way out of that situation...
