If I may make a suggestion or two.
1: forget everything you think you know about NS. The builds you use and the I can solo everything mindset.
2 : learn to party, that way you can all coordinate your movements and actions. As well as experiance the new party exp system and the synergy system in place.
3: Constructive critisizem is fine, however please take into account that this is still Beta and that there are many things that the closed beta team missed based on the fact that we didnt have a few hundered of us all doing the same thing at the same time. You all are doing your parts now very well, helping identify the things that come loose when the mod is grabbed by the throat and given a good shaking.
However if this wont placate you I would like to remind you that there is no requirement for you to be part of the beta process. If you would like to play the final finished mod you may indeed wait to do so as NS3 is still up for you to enjoy as well.

Spawns
I too have been having trouble finding anything to fight. Nobody can advance and move to new areas if you can never find anything to fight!! I wasted an hour trying to find anything in NS Underground. And if an area needs to be empty to respawn - it ain't ever going to happen. Give us something to fight so we can get better and move onto new areas. Right now I am going to be stuck at lvl 2 forever...
But I like the new world - keep up the great work!

This is another reason why we keep suggesting that people "party up"... if you have 8-10 groups moving about, then areas will empty. If you have 40 solos running hither and yon, then no, they won't.
I'll be in tonight, after work, and I'll try to spawn a few things if I happen to notice an area getting overstressed. But don't expect me to do it on demand. I may busy rescuing people trapped in the Rift.

look, it's not so much too much people. i know that's the first thought for the devs, but it's not the problem. grouping doesn't solve it either.
there is a SERIOUS problem with the MA newbie area spawns. (plains)
the mobs are not spawning forcing us into zones (wastes, undersea caves) that are twice our level.
and ofcourse, we all die horribly and go broke/receive mad xp loss.
(my mage was like 200 xp/1000 gold, now it's 800 xp/50 gold away from lvl 4
)
the reason i come off as a bit harsh here, is it irks me to see you still posting about grouping/forget builds about ns3........that's not the damn reason!
yes, it's still beta, that's why some factions aren't complete (no jobs), but i'm not talking about those, im simply stating the spawn problem is a real problem.
don't write it off as just new server syndrome. right now, it's damn near impossible to keep up with other factions in terms of leveling because of spawning issues in MA.

I got pked yesterday, but I'm not complaining about it. I was just puzzled as to why it happened. Post made elsewhere.
on to the subject at hand:
A beta system works until it encounters hundreds of users. Thats a given.
From what I've seen so far NS4 is looking good.

An increase in stress level? Frustration setting in? Not what one thought it would be? Please, please please one and all, let us all take pause and consider this: The Devs', the DMs' and everyone else involved have worked tirelessly to bring NS4 to this point, per all of our nagging, praying, begging and even harrassment. WE were the ones who asked for this. They have granted our wish. It is now up to US as players to help them through this next phase. Please, if you have comments or criticisms...please make them CONSTRUCTIVE ones. I would gladly make you all a nice cup of coffee and serve a lovely Banana cake with it [I lied...I have 2 talents] if it would help with your stress levels.Mz_Shadow wrote: For the last year people have been complaining about when Beta is going to open. On a personal note....Thank you one and all who brought NS4 alive. The details are breathtaking [climb a hill in LA and see what i mean]. I apologise now for my lack of programming knowledge which may help...but I'm sure there will be others who can help in that area.
Please enjoy the experience of being part of a unique product one and all.

guys guys...
to the DM/dev/admins or whatever, dont criticize the players for their complains. they KNOW it is BETA. they know there are bugs in it.
but no one ever realizes that this BETA could be too fresh that there are lots of stuff still left undone
Not going to point that closed beta testers are at fault but I believe the number of "active" beta testers were the problem since having 10-15 players max at closed beta is nothing compared with hundreds =D
It is good that you guys shutdown ns4 atm to "fix" things up.

What I have been doing with my "spare time" between spawns is exploring the faction area. Rather than camp a known xp area (with tens of others) I strike out on my own to try to figure out what is what and where it is. Do I die a lot? Sure. But as we see with this vault wipe already, its better to focus on the things that will carry over to the finished product that to worry about leveling chacters that will disappear before too long.
