Kingmaker expansion?????
so is ns going to be kingmaker required or are you guys going to keep it how it is?
Kingmaker's a premium module, not an expansion; it has plenty of single player gametime, but doesn't actually add anything to the engine in terms of classes, feats, spells, etc. Those are the things which one would "require" to play a given build like Neversummer, so if you already have Shadows and Hordes, you've got the full range of possibilities for Neversummer already (and probably for all time, since I don't see another expansion coming with NWN2 on the way).

The music and the three portraits are already in the game. Other than that, there wasn't any new content in the first set of premium mods (I think). 1.67 will add the sharks, parrots, placeables and the tile groups of the last premium mod (Pirates of the Sword Coast). Starting to wonder whether Bio will release any of that supposed ton of art content DLA made for the premium modules last year at all...

I would highly doubt Kingmaker would be required for NS, but the last patch did include some portraits and music from the premium modules. Perhaps some of that material might work its way into the module at some point.

that rox! It'd be so cool to have some special areas using the new tilesets and mosters from the Pirates addon - could be different water-exits for underwater zones and a boat that takes you to the tropical island heh.. maybe some special +4 or +5 scimitar could drop with say, acid dmg? some unique helms, belts, rings/ammies and armour would be nice too..
I'll have to buy that one 4 sure...

Actually, some of the custom content for PotSC has been released as a hak on the Vault, the only probelm is that Bioware didn't include little things like the .2da files that tell the Toolset where to put the portraits, models and stuff like that. So a user has to know how to edit those file to enable the stuff in the toolset. Of course we'll probably just have to wait for the 1.67 patch to see this stuff in NS, since the devs have a no hak pak policy here. Some of that stuff will be worth the wait.
