Levels of Factional Loyalty

Is it possible to be only partially loyal to a given faction and not be some diehard fanatic? For instance, Last Alliance allows every class, so I could make a character who is a dwarf in LA, he has never even seen the Dwarven Stronghold and was born in Neversummer city, but does not harbor any resentment towards Ragnar's Kin, and wouldn't feel that strongly about helping LA conquer everyone else. If he did things to help Ragnar's Kin and did nothing to anger the LA could he theoretically have a friendly rating in both of those factions?

well you should remember that you wasn't born in NS, you came to the land thru the rifts, and you chose youself that you would fight for LA, so if you wanted to join the dwarvens, you should have choosen that when you first came to the land.

I know this really doesn't answer the question, but i dont think you can, but thats up to the devs to decide

Actually, anyone in the LA is a native of the area. meaning they didnt come through the rifts.

Nope. All PCs come through the rifts. Because LA is losing so badly they're recruiting help from the rifts. :)

when you are in LA every1 is hostile towards you, so, you would not be able to have a friendly faction rating there, atleast from the start, you might be able to slowly build one, but that would most likely take quite a while.

and chances are it would hurt your LA rating... people dont take kindly to traitors
